Dead system, dracut and no installation media

Hi,

I did a mistake on a secondary system, which ended in powerloss while updating it.
The system had nearly finished the update and was rebuilding installing new vmlinuz and initramfs.

My first thought was to just rebuild the files:
1. Start system from gparted ISO (already prepared USB drive for other tasks)
2. Click through the options to get to the DE
3. Start the terminal, mount root/boot/sys/dev/proc partition and chroot into it
4. Copy cp /usr/lib/modules/7.1.2-arch1-1/vmlinuz /boot/vmlinuz-linux
5. Run "dracut --kver 7.1.2-arch1-1" and see a lot of messages "dracut-install Failed to find module"

A bit baffled and checked e.g. with "ls -l /usr/lib/modules/7.1.2-arch1-1/kernel/fs/xfs/xfs.ko.zst", the modules are there.
Tried various iterations of dracut, e.g. "dracut --kmoddir /usr/lib/modules/7.1.2-arch1-1/", but same error messages.

What am I doing wrong?
I know, I could now download the media and do the tricks with "archroot", but if everything is there dracut should be able to just do the job.
