As of today I am getting this error in Librewolf for many videos
This video can’t be played on your device.
Your browser or system may be missing the required video codecs (H.264/AAC).It started after an update yesterday which included ffmpeg, so I am guessing Librewolf needs an update to match this? Is this correct or did I break something myself?

Yes, it’s an issue from update. Firefox already has a patch, so a fix will probably arrive soon.
In the meantime, you can install ffmpeg4.4, which should also work.

This has worked, thank you. I will note to remove it when the Librewolf update arrives.
The update arrived and now it is solved without the extra ffmpeg package
