(FOUND) CPU-Control alternative on Linux?

There has been this neat little program for Windows, developed by koma-code.de. CPU-Control. It allowed the user to manually specify which threads of the CPU a specific process must use.

I am struggling to find an alternative for this program on Windows. I am trying to play some old games that really struggle on modern CPUs because they are single-threaded. As a workaround I've read multiple times that forcing the game to run on the least busy CPU core can boost it's performance.

Do you guys know any program like this? Preferrably with GUI but TUI will work too.
