Broken ALSA installation - No Sound

Everything works except sound on Niri + DMS

systemctl is-active alsa

outputs: inactive

Output of 

strace arecord -l

sof-firmware, pipewire, pulseaudio are installed

Speaker test works but I get no sound from my speakers

I used to be able to make the sound system work via the terminal but I'm unable to do so at the moment.

that's not a thing so that will always be inactive

sof-firmware, pipewire, pulseaudio are installed

you don't want pulseaudio with pipewire, install pipewire-pulse instead.

that this is mono is slightly weird but might also be normal

What laptop model is this? the aplay output shows some card getting detected, but post more plainly parseable info first

paste 1,2 and 4 use pastes.io which produces barely readable walls of text unless javascript is enabled and 'code' is chosen .

Please use another pastebin service next time as many posters here block javascript .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

what is that supposed to be going to be?

sudo pacman -Syu pipewire-pulse

it will offer you to replace pulsenoaudio and you'll say yes to that.
Then reboot, then report back in the situation.
