element-desktop stopped showing tray icon

Since upgrading to electron 43.4.0 the tray icon stopped appearing.
I filed a bug report upstream (https://github.com/element-hq/element-web/issues/34709), but it was rejected, because they don't support the Arch package.
I'm not registered in SSO (I have requested a whitelist) so I can't report the problem to the Arch maintainers.

Does anyone else face the problem? Is there anything I can do to trace it?

Got the same issue after a recent update.
XFCE, element-desktop 1.12.24-1, electron43 43.4.0-1.

Not sure if it's related, but at the same time i also started having a problem where clicking on any notification would open Viber (if it's already running) along with whatever program the notification was from.
