I like your desktop. I've only been using linux as a desktop for a few months or so, and I was wondering what terminal you're using and how you can customize the command line with the timestamp, etc.

How did you remove the blank space you normally have when you don't use any icon (like you do) in xfdesktop --menu ?

add:
gtk-menu-images = 0
to ~/.gtkrc-2.0 this will remove icons from all menus

I always find it funny that people on Linux who use Vista themes can make it, in 90% of the cases, look cleaner and nicer then the actual Vista GUI
