Closed AUR registrations: any plan to reopen/manually approve it?

Hello.

The registration is closed for long, and the last status so far is from the Aug 13th, where "no manual process" is stated crearly https://lists.archlinux.org/archives/li … FRT7VGM3V/

I'd like to add my colleague to maintain our packages, but he doesn't have an account on AUR.

What are the plans to reopen registration or process referrals?

The author of that message is also the primary maintainer / developer of aurweb .

They are working on a 6.5.1 release to make it even harder to abuse abandoned packages. Whether that is enough to re-open the registration process is another question .
