Hibernation broke... again...

Hello! Good morning/evening,

I'll make this straight to the point:

  • Under this post (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=314554) I detailed all the info I could gather regarding hardware specs, software, kernel, configs, logs, etc.

  • I have been fighting problems with hibernation for the past year, and none of the recommended fixes worked (like the ones found in the Arch wiki, or the ones that worked for other people in forums I found).

  • In the end I managed to find a fix and posted it in the comments of the aforementioned post in case anyone was experiencing the same issues.

So far so good, except... I updated the system (sudo pacman -Syu) and it broke hmm again... it's been less than a month!!!
The hibernation image is stored correctly, and resuming does work correctly too! The problem is that it doesn't really power off completely, the hardware stays on (which kinda defeats the point of hibernating vs sleeping, as the battery drains out and it also heats up after a while, so not ideal). I have to forcefully power it off before resuming.

Does anyone have any ideas about what could be preventing the final power-off?

I'm happy to provide whatever logs/configuration information is useful. The original thread linked above contains most of the background information.
Thanks a lot in advance! <3 Have a lovely day!

Re: Hibernation broke... again...

Please post the entire system journal *after* waking from hibernation

sudo journalctl -b | nc termbin.com 9999

(You can create a clean full reboot, then hibernate, wake and post the journal)
