Need help in reproducing this issue please: if you have more than three(!) monitors connected over Thunderbolt in some fashion or other (in my case four: two connected to iGPU + two to eGPU), monitors will not go to sleep! This bug report surmises that the culprit is "a kernel-level bug/limitation in the DP tunneling bandwidth allocation code (drm_dp_tunnel helper, used by both the i915 and amdgpu DRM drivers)." Note that any combination of three monitors or less has no sleep issues whatsoever.
Can anyone confirm?
