Apprise package outdated

Hi, as the subject says, Apprise is in official repos and is really outdated.
Last version update was in April, it is flagged as outdated since May and is lagging multiple versions already.

Is there some issue with upgrading it or is it orphaned ?
I would like to know whether I should move to installing it from pip rather than relying on the official repo.

I have just upgraded the package, sorry for the delay!

The issue was a failing test in the test suite which I deferred looking at (and just ignored now).
