This is on a wayland session? Does X11 work?
x11 ends up with the same result ![]()
edit, forcing opengl emulation causes the game to crash immediately, but it would not have worked anyway as the EAC splash screen exhibits the same behavior of closing almost immediately

any clues here?? tried playing Halo Infinite and i'm still getting issues. system is completely up-to-date.
i tried scouring through the proton logs from nightreign and all i see about EAC is that it's using a "syscall workaround" which i assume is normal? i feel like i am out of leads

How exactly did you go about using the patched glibc?
Are you also using it when the game works w/o EAC?
Offline
i just replaced my glibc package with glibc-eac then rebooted. i used an AUR helper which i assumed would build and onstall it for me. i removed glibc-eac once i found out it still wouldnt work.
