playing proton games cause data fabric sync flood event

hello gentlemen,

i am experiencing this error when playing games with proton. this is the "dmesg | grep -i error" output:

x86/amd: Previous system reset reason [0x08000800]: an uncorrected error caused a data fabric sync flood event
[ 0.675493] [Hardware Error]: System Fatal error.
[ 0.675502] [Hardware Error]: CPU:7 (19:21:2) MC5_STATUS[-|UE|MiscV|AddrV|PCC|TCC|SyndV|-|-|-]: 0xbea0000001000108

[ 0.675540] [Hardware Error]: cache level: RESV, tx: GEN, mem-tx: GEN

i also tried to install rasdaemon but encounter problem when enabling ras-mc-ctl.service. "systemctl start ras-mc-ctl.service" yield

Job for ras-mc-ctl.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
See "systemctl status ras-mc-ctl.service" and "journalctl -xeu ras-mc-ctl.service" for details.

"journalctl -xeu ras-mc-ctl.service" yield:

Failed to start Initialize EDAC v3.0.0 Drivers For Machine Hardware.

in an attempt to isolate the faulty component i have done multiple of each benchmark to test my hardware in hoping to reproduce the same error under load. this is what i have tried:

- y-cruncher benchmark (component stress tester, enable all test, run until fail) => left overnight wake up finding y-cruncher still running without an error all test passed minimum 6 hours
- stress-ng --cpu 6 => left overnight with no error
- unigine benchmark for gpu => did not crash a single time left overnight minimum 6 hours.
- memtest86+ => left overnight multiple pass with zero error. minimum 4-5 hours.
- multiple blender benchmark => no crashes

I also have tried other things such as:

- updating mobo bios to latest stable version
- reseting bios to default setting
- disable global c-state in the bios setting
- trying to install multiple kernel.
- tried multiple version of proton including proton-ge

all of them not able to resolve the issue. the error does not happen when playing native linux game nor during any other times. machine is
stable at all times and only experience crashing when playing windows game. pc component are not overclocked, everything is in stock configuration.

crash symptom:
1, play windows game on steam
2. without warning screen freeze
3. audio plays like a broken record (repeating itself)
4. wait 1-2 minutes
5. system rebooted
6. error displayed during boot screen

i did not experience any hiccup during game play. no thermal throttling is experience before crash (crash happen randomly without warning). happens often 10-30
minute after playing sometimes less than that

spec:
mobo : b550m mortar wifi max
cpu: r5 5600 (typical temp under load 57c)
gpu: rx 5700 saphire pulse (typical temp under load 80c)
ram: 16 gb

i also have tried this boot parameter

 processor.max_cstate=1 pcie_ports=native pcie_aspm=off

and i also have tried steam troubleshooting page and not being able to resolve the issue.

i ran out of ideas to try. any help would be appreciated.
