fluxbox problem

Hey,
When i open fluxbox, my menu comes up when i click and everything, but the only thing that opens when i click on it in the menu is gaim, and the configuration stuff, but none of the programs load except for gaim.  I Can't even bring up a terminal, because when i go to Terminal > terminal-name, nothing happens.  Does anyone know why this is?  And on the side, whats the hot key fluxbox to bring up a terminal?  Just so that i can use the forums from my linux box.

Do you have any of those terminals installed? This may seem like a stupid question, but it really is necessary around here.

He's not being an ass... When I first loaded fluxbox I had nothing on my computer besides xorg.  But the menu came fully loaded down.

You can always access your virtual terminals via Ctrl+alt+F2 thru F5 and come back to the X session via Ctrl+alt+F7

I manually set up my FBmenu but I believe there is a package to auto generate your menus for you.
if you want to manually do it the menu is in ~/.fluxbox/menu

oh ok, i thougth it might have been something like that, but the reason i didnt think so was because just before i installed gnome as well, so i figured that some of these packages were installed with gnome.  thanks a lot

Just install menumaker to regenerate your menu.  And also fluxconf which you can use to edit your menu to your taste.
