There is an email interface to subscribe and unsubscribe membership of the lists of lists.archlinux.org.
As far as I am aware of, the email interface is announced by:
The general guidelines wiki article.
The welcome message which is sent after one subscribes to each list.
I think such announcement should also appear at lists.archlinux.org.
As far as I know, the software behind the lists is able to accept email adjustments to the subscription, in addition to subscribing and unsubscribing by email. Indeed the current welcome message does announce this capability. Yet when inquiring the software for instructions by email, it only tells about subscribing and unsubscribing. I think adjustments to lists subscriptions should be fully implemented by lists.archlinux.org.

It turns out many mailing lists have
List-{Archive,Help,Owner,Post,Subscribe,Unsuscribe}headers in each message. I wasn't aware of that up to a short while ago. With the inflation of header lines, and the (non) usage I usually do with them in person, can I, or the writers of MUAs, be blamed? (That is not to say MUA programs don't take advantage of header lines.). I think there are some email clients that don't let their users use a raw mode to see the full message. I wonder what percentage of user do know about these header lines.
In fact, I also suggests the welcome messages, and the suggested text at lists.archlinux.org from the previous message, will also mention these header lines.
