In case you sorted it out please briefly address how, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Genera … way_street
and then please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.

Thanks.
It outputs that the drm_modeset = 1, so ithink its just that i had it wrong in the beginning.
Doing the
cat /sys/module/nvidia_drm/parameters/modesetof the wiki still outputs a N

So it's off.
What are the outputs of the first two commands in #2?

Well, there:
options nvidia_drm modeset=0you added some modprobe config overriding this.
After removing it you might have to regenerate the initramfs.

If i do
ls /etc/modprobe.d/it returns:
auto-nvidia-drm.conf linuwu-sense.conf nvidia_drm.confif i revise the relevant files with cat it returns
cat /etc/modprobe.d/auto-nvidia-drm.conf
options nvidia_drm modeset=1
cat /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia_drm.conf
options nvidia_drm modeset=0Offline
Your configuration has conflicting settings: `modeset=1` in `auto-nvidia-drm.conf` and `modeset=0` in `nvidia_drm.conf`.
As explained in the ArchWiki modprobe.d documentation, a later `options` line for the same module replaces the previous one.
Edit the conflicting file:
sudoedit /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia_drm.confRemove `options nvidia_drm modeset=0` and save the file.
Check the configuration before rebooting:
systemd-analyze cat-config modprobe.dThen reboot so the module can load with the updated configuration.
After rebooting, run:
cat /sys/module/nvidia_drm/parameters/modesetThe expected output is `Y`, as documented in the ArchWiki NVIDIA guide.
