I have recently acquired a Flashforge Creator 5 Pro, and whilst there is a working Flash Studio, it has been crippled for multi material prints compared with it's father, Orca Slicer. Orca Slicer doesn't provide the printer status page that Flash Studio does.
So, I've created an AUR package that provides a standalone Linux monitor, which is much more lightweight than the Flash Studio page (Flash Studio uses a full html/CSS engine - whilst mine just uses python, mpv and interrogates the printer (the API is publicly documented).
Anyone with a Creator 5 or a Creator 5 Pro, I'd appreciate feedback confirming it works, and feedback, if you don't mind.
Go gentle, this is my first AUR package. The AUR package is called flashforgemonitor, or you can check the sources on github at https://github.com/RokenPrice/flashforgemonitor.
If this is all good, my next step is to add AD5X support.

This is for a 3D-printer ?
It seems to be a python package, have you looked at https://manual.archlinux.page/package-g … es/python/ ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

It is for a 3D printer, and no, I hadn't seen that. It is just a python script, nothing fancy.
EDIT: OK, done a quick check, and it should be OK.
And I am still interested in feedback. Test subjects to date are exactly one, me.
