Create a Pkg build for https://github.com/Ryu7w7/OCTR-NitroFueled-PC
I made my own PKGBUILD but i can't register to AUR site.
pkgname=OCTR-NitroFueled-PC-bin
pkgver="0.6.3"
pkgrel="1"
pkgdesc="Experimental Online Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled (PS4) running natively on Windows 10/11. Windows fork of SacredFire, built on bbport and shadPS4. No game files included."
arch=('x86_64')

Since you re-packaging an appimage you're using pre-built binaries. To reflect this the suffix -bin needs to be appended to the pkgname .
mkdir -p ${pkgdir}/usr/bin/mountroot/nix/storeWhat is in this folder and is it needed to run the application ?
You need to add a LICENSE= field, look at https://github.com/Ryu7w7/OCTR-NitroFue … in/LICENSE to determine which license is used.
https://github.com/Ryu7w7/OCTR-NitroFue … x-appimage has instructions to create the appimage on archlinux, you could try to use them to create a build from source package .
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

it needs that folder or it won't run. I edited my post to reflect the bin suffix and the license field

Please don't change the Opening Post in the future as it makes it harder for people to follow what happens.
Incase you do feel the need to add something to the OP append it at the bottom of the post and add a short tag (like EDIT1 , EDIT2 etc) .
We don't mind (actually often prefer) having multiple code pastes with small differences.
(diff'ing them is easy and makes it easy to spot the changes)
The license is indeed GPL 2 , but arch has switched to SPDX identifiers for licensing.
See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PKGBUILD#license

Hi @HyperPuppy,
I created and published the package on AUR following the Arch Linux packaging standards:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/octr … led-pc-bin
Key adjustments made according to the guidelines:
1. Naming: Converted the package name to lowercase (`octr-nitrofueled-pc-bin`) per AUR conventions.
2. File hierarchy: Instead of unpacking AppImage runtime internals directly into `/usr/bin/nix`, files are installed to `/opt/octr-nitrofueled-pc-bin` with a clean wrapper script in `/usr/bin/sacredfire` (and a symlink `/usr/bin/octr-nitrofueled-pc`).
3. Desktop integration: Fixed the `Exec=` path in the `.desktop` file and installed the icon into `/usr/share/icons/hicolor/`.
4. Upstream version: Updated to the latest release `0.6.4` with the SPDX license identifier `GPL-2.0-only`.
You are credited as Contributor in the PKGBUILD header. I have also disowned the package so that you can adopt and maintain it yourself as soon as your AUR account is active.
