Hi so i just installed arch on my amd machine with integrated gpu and everything seems to work except blender which tries to load some cuda (nvidia) stuff

hip-runtime-amd: Cycles renderer AMD ROCm supportTry installing that.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

I installed it and also updated blender to 17:5.2.3-4 but the error persists (blender should work fine on cpu alone), its really weird that it tries to load some random lib

AMD GPU running Blender smoothly 20 mins ago, ran an -Syu and now the same error is popping up. Downgrading the package solves the issue.
Doesn't seem right to me that Blender would have a hard dependency on any cuda libs, but I am a simpleton.

I suspect there was a goof-up when the blender package was updated in the repo. If a new hard requirement was added (and I don't believe one was), that new dependency should be included in the dependencies installed automatically by pacman
Rather than fight with it, i just installed it via Steam for now until the package gets fixed
