Re: [SOLVED] error: GPGME error: No data

pacman -Syyu

Don't use yy without a very good reason (like reverting from testing to non-testing repos ).

error: failed to synchronize all databases (invalid or corrupted database (PGP signature))

Archlinux sync DBs are not signed, /var/lib/pacman/sync/extra.db.sig should not existl.

Please post your /etc/pacman.conf .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Re: [SOLVED] error: GPGME error: No data

I've had the same problem just now. I updated my system 4 days ago and few minutes ago, I couldn't do it.
I solved deleting the sig files, but I'm not sure what happen.

I do not have any difference between my pacman.conf and the pacnew file, except the inclusion of multilib.

Re: [SOLVED] error: GPGME error: No data

This typically happens if the mirror serves weird files (probably a html page) instead of the actual databases or signatures.
