When upgrading hyprland (currently 0.55.4-1) it crashes with this error:
error while loading shared libraries: libhyprutils.so.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryReinstallation does not solve the issue.
Do you have any tips on how to tackle this problem?

https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/hyprutils/ ships usr/lib/libhyprutils.so.0.14.3 & usr/lib/libhyprutils.so.13 but https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/hyprland/ was rebuilt 1h ago, does it fix w/ an update?
If not, what process exactly requires libhyprutils.so.12 ?

How can I find out a dependency on libhyprutils.so.12, not on the hyprutils package?

Well, what command causes the error you posted?
You can run ldd on all files in /usr*/bin and /usr*lib but if this is coming from sth in /opt that would still not help.

Thanks a lot, ldd was really helpful.
After running this
fd --type x --hidden --no-ignore --search-path /usr -x sh -c '
if ldd "$1" 2>/dev/null | grep -q "libhyprutils.so.12"; then
owner=$(pacman -Qoq "$1" 2>/dev/null || echo "(not owned)")
printf "%s: %s\n" "$owner" "$1"
fi
' _ {}(its smaller version
fd --type x --hidden --no-ignore --search-path /usr -x sh -c 'ldd "$1" 2>/dev/null | grep -q "libhyprutils.so.12" && echo "$1"' _ {}would have been enough)
I found out that in /usr/local/bin there were some binaries (hyprctl, hyprland, Hyprland, hyprpm, start-hyprland) that required the old libhyprutils.so.12
After moving them to a backup directory and updating again, hyprland now doesn't crash on startup and runs again.
