hi ppl im having kernel26ck panic...cannot execute init...i use more often kernel beyond so...when is it the new beyond kernel coming? is anybody having problms with the latest kernel26ck?

OK - I don't know lilo, so I probably can't help apart from asking the obvious question - did you run lilo after installing ck?

One other thing, though - are you sure the vga parameter goes on the initrd line?

yes i ran lilo on root..and yes this cnfigs i used it for a long time and never gived me anyproblms.....but..ill try with grub...or ill never know...thanks for the tip..

try putting vga on its own line:
vga=792
initrd=/boot/kernel26ck.img
