pacman

Hey, im just wondering about pacman, is there anyway to get a non root to run it?  And when i install from root can any user use it?  The reason im wondering is because i got conky, and the configuartion file should be in
~/.conkyrc right.  But since i got it under root, would it make the file in every usesrs home directory, or how does this work.  Because right now the file is not in my user "drewch" home direction /home/drewch/.conkyrc,
Can someone clarify how this works for me?  And where my conky config file for my user drewch would be?
thanks a lot

Re: pacman

Pacman doesn't install files in the users home directory.  Each user must provide/create these config files if needed.

As for conky, there is a sample config file that gets installed in /etc. Copy it in your home directory and change it to your liking.
