extensions in Opera?
Does Opera have an extensions like functionality? I thought I had read this somewhere but now I can't seem to find that article so I'm not sure if imagined it or not.

It has widgets (like Vista/OS X), but that's probably not what you want.
You want to add functionality to the browsing, which you can often do through custom buttons or user JavaScript. Look through the Opera Wiki for some pre-made buttons and scripts plus instructions on how to roll your own.
