0.7.2: Cannot install selected packages

I am at the point where I select all the base packages and trying to install.  It would not let me install the selected packages.  Something about zlib not being found.

So I tried a FTP installation, and the same thing happens.  I tried another FTP server, and again!

How do I fix this?

I found a simular topic in Search dating 4 months back:

No one answered.  Hopefully someone have a solution now.  PLEASE help!!!

Re: 0.7.2: Cannot install selected packages

Just tried the beta.  Same thing.  Cannot install selected packages.

In addition, it read the hda as sda.  Other thing, while partitioning, it said that I have 7000 MB left for / or /home.  My HDD has less than that in total.  WTF?

Other distros have no problem detecting my hardware properly.  None of my hardware is generic.

Any other ideas how to fix it?

I was expecting Arch to install smoothly since I heard some good things about it.

About the hda -> sda thing:

Can't really help you with the partitioning. Your HD is smaller than 7GB or what? I don't really understand what you mean. Also when I installed Arch it did not include a partitioning tool, I prepared my HD using gparted. Maybe the new ISOs have one though.
