- opera + mozplugger + flash (almost never use it but anyway, there are certain stupid websites)
- mplayer for watching videos and converting formats
- xmms to play music (mp3 or ogg)
- icewm + silverxptheme good keyboard and mouse support, fast
- menumaker to make the icewm menu
- screen in transparent aterm
- xzgv picture viewer
- emelfm file manager
- vim, nano and nedit editors for html,scripts, ...
- abiword for normal texts
- cplay to play music in console (ncmpc is really nice too)
- elinks to browse in console
- muttng to read mail  (gui sylpheed claws is nice..)
- lftp
- irssi + bitlbee to chat
- xpdf
- graveman to burn cd / dvd

I just tried the cmus music player for console and like it much more then cplay. cplay is a python app and that means it's slower, though the ui is great.

rtorrent I just tried yesterday and it's great! Way better then bittornado smile
