upcoming daylight saving screwup

Hi all,

This is a reminder to check your zoneinfo to make sure your daylight saving switch date this year (courtesy of George Dubya) is correct --

zdump -v Canada/Pacific

The package containing the zoneinfo files is glibc; until recently some of the files (Canada/Pacific at least) didn't have the new dates. The current version of glibc (probably) has the correct dates for all of the US and Canada, except possibly Nunavut, which didn't ratify the change until February 19th (I was actually hoping they'd just ignore George to show him a thing or two ;) ).

~Felix.

Edit: frigging graphic smilies off

Re: upcoming daylight saving screwup

Brazilian timezones are incorrect. Daylight saving has already started in my city (São Paulo - America/Sao_Paulo or Brazil/East), but it was not automatic. I had to manually create one to fix it.
