Last month I fell in love with Dolphin. I heard about it on osnews, tried it and now I am using it instead of konqueror as a file manager. Cant wait for KDE4 smile

looks like he just disabled window decor for those windows, openbox can do that, (i forget the key combo) and it just leaves a small border around the window.

Exactly. That's the application-section of my ~/.config/openbox/rc.xml:

And I modified the Europa-theme, so that is draws a 1px-border around my windows.
