xfce4-svn shutdown/reboot issue

I recently upgraded from xfce4 to xfce4-svn. Now, i dont have the to option to shutdown/reboot from GUI. On selecting, logout from the menu or doing ctrl+F4, it takes me to console where I need to type halt or reboot for respective action. Is this a new feature of xfce4-svn or a bug?

Go to Settings -> Sessions and Startup and check 'Prompt on logout'.
