the dock icon for rhytmbox:

gtk: selfmade gtk-murrina theme to match Deep Black Neutronium
wallpaper: custom TYPE-MOON logo ^^congatulations. thats the best setup ive seen in months. (maybe ever). id like to know how u got all those info in the bottom panel. also i definately want that theme of yours if u dont mind sharing.
id probably still be on xfce if it looked like that
thx
The xfce bottom panel uses xfce4-applets and gnome-panel-applets via Xfapplet (xfce4-xfapplet-plugin).
the applets in order:
- xfce4-clock
- gnome-weather-report
- hardware-monitor (animated bars + text)
- xfce4-diskperf-plugin (disk performance)
- xfce4-genmon-plugin (custom applets)
I use the genmon-plugin to display gpu and hdd temperature via small scripts, here are some examples:
nvidia-gpu-temp --> nvidia-settings
#!/bin/bash
nvidia-settings -q gpucoretemp |grep Attribute |cut -c 43-44
hdd-temp --> smartmontools
#!/bin/bash
sudo smartctl -a -d ata /dev/sda |grep Temp |cut -c 88-90

Sen, I really like your (bash? zsh?) prompt in your terminal, care to share? Been trying to set-up something similar...

I recolored the kicker and changed the background accordingly to what was linked in the KDEmod-thread and I simply love it.
Can you share your background image please ?

That's all in one terminal. The top half is a remote screen session. It's all contained in a local screen session (running screen from CVS, hence the vertical splits). The bottom line is screen's hardstatus line.
FTR mutt is running in 256 color mode. You can find my config here: http://phraktured.net/config/.mutt/colors
And all the rest here: http://phraktured.net/config/
Thank you for the informations and the configurations
