XP directory as user

How can I mount XP directory as user?
Even if I mounted it as root couldn't see it's content as user.

Re: XP directory as user

try this in your fstab file

/dev/discs/disc0/part1 /mnt/dos vfat users,defaults,umask=0 0 0

*note change /dev path to your windows partitions/drive

Re: XP directory as user

If this is an XP partition, should it not be NTFS instead of VFAT in the /etc/fstab line? I have always used ntfs...granted I cannot write to it, but never tried vfat.
