sound issues toshiba p105-s6147

Im having issues with getting sound working on my laptop. i think i have everything installed properly but when i run alsamixer there is only a master volume control showing and sound doesnt work. if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated

what module do you use?
`pacman -S lshwd && lshwd`
