Add Ark to the kde context menu (solved)

Sorry for be so noob, but i am new at arch and i cant find the way yo add ark to the kde context menu to compress a file or folder with a single click. I know how to use the conmand line but i find this task much faster with this option.

PS: this is a great chance to learn how to add more thing in the context menu, for me too. A couple of packs just go there (ktorrent for example) without any configuration but there are others i wish i can add there.

Thanks!

There is something wrong. If Ark is installed, you automatically get a context menu item in Konqueror.

have you been a bad boy (girl?), and only installed kdebase?
Other than that, did you try both on the desktop and in a konqueror session? Is "ark integration" in activated in kde/konqueror?

FYI, ark is in kdeutils. If you don't want to have the full kde installed, you could remove the kde packages you just installed (see pacman.log) and only keep kdeutils. That might work  if your problem was that kdeutils wasn't installed.
