Hi to all

Hi to all. I'm a new registered member of this great forum, however I'm already a 1-month old Arch user.

The only thing I want to say is Arch is GREEEEAAAAT! I have just finished installing it on a Mactel and on a VPS, reachable at this address http://www.giochinternet.com/ ( for now there is only a placeholder ). However I would say thank you to the development community. This distro really rocks, IMHO it is the best one around for people that know where to watch to solve admin problems.

What I like in particular is the BSD-ish foundation and the KISS approach. I worked with FreeBSD some years ago and I found in Arch a great solution to replace FreeBSD ( ok they work well too, but Linux has some remarkable features non found in BSDes ).

Ok, I don't want to write a book, so I'll say only one thing

Hehe I think being the "best" is very very difficult. For me though I think
Archlinux is an extremely good distribution. Many of the annoyances in
other distributions, especially developers bickering like in "some other distributions"
rarely seem to happen here. It makes the community much nicer to be in, and it
feels more advanced than using automagical GUI tools  :-)
