Background & Pekwm & xcompmgr

Hi all, i've installed Pekwm and i'm currently playing with xcompmgr too but when i set a background with xsetbg i can't see it altough if i kill xcompmgr i can see it then. I think xcompmgr is hiding my root window and I'd like to know if somebody else has found a solution for this problem Thank you!
