Kaffeine streams from hard drive

All right... this is a weird problem.  Kaffeine streams everything just fine from the internet, and it plays all of my videos with no problem.  However, when I load a video from my hard drive, it streams from the location of the file to a temp folder.  It's not a terribly big problem, but it is somewhat annoying.

Any ideas about why it would do this or how to make it play the file directly?

I'm using:
kde 3.5.6-3
kaffeine 0.8.3-2

Alsa audio decoder, Xv video decoder (auto)

EDIT: The problem disappeared when I enabled DRI in my xorg.conf.  Kind of funny, I was trying to get openoffice working, and enabling DRI fixed both problems.

EDIT 2: Well, I was wrong, the file was still sitting in the temp directory.  It's definately still trying to stream...
