GTK Applications are slow after pacman -Syu

Two days ago, i did a pacman -Syu and upgraded some packages. Now my GTK applications (firefox, thunderbird, or xfce4 WM) behaves very slow.

How can i see changes made by pacman within the last few days? I can post more infos on this. So sorry about beeing unprecise.

Re: GTK Applications are slow after pacman -Syu

I have to say that I seem to be experiencing a similar problem.  I've noticed today that my whole desktop seems less responsive, and even as I'm typing this the text occasionally just stops updating and hangs.  Beryl seems more jumpy aswell.  Though it doesn't seem as bad as what you describe.

If you have an ATI Graphics Card, like i have, try editing /etc/X11/xorg.conf:

Uncomment the Line Option "AccelMethod" "EXA" in the Section "Device".

This works for me.

Heh, I think I found my problem.  Nothing to do with upgrading packages, I had just set 'Disable GL Yield Setting' to test something and then forgotten to un-set it, Unseting it seems to have fixed my slowness.
