Kernel 2.6.20 beyond

Maybe the mantainer of the beyond-patched kernel didn't see the patchset for 2.6.20 has been released 1 month ago (it isn't linked on the project homepage): http://iphitus.loudas.com/beyond/2.6.20/2.6.20-beyond1/

This is the only kernel not updated to 2.6.20 (default, ck, suspend2 etc. are all updated).

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

The main page isn't updated:

http://iphitus.loudas.com/beyond.html
For the latest release, please check http://iphitus.loudas.com/beyond/ until I fix the scripts behind this site.

I checked it (1 month ago) and I found the patchset for 2.6.20. It is "final" not testing. The testing version was "2.6.20-beyond1pre1".

Maybe the mantainer makes the same mistake of "wonder".

If iphitus didn't create package there must be a reason for it

For the sake of accuracy - kernel26suspend2 is still at version 2.6.19.2.

Yeah, also suspend2 doesn't seem updated. However suspend2 for 2.6.20 is clearly flagged as "development version": http://www.suspend2.net

Well... on the package page ( http://www.archlinux.org/packages/10862/ ) I read:

James Rayner

and there isn't any e-mail address to contact him (so I opened this thread). And there isn't any "I'm iphitus" writing. I couldn't know that... now I know that.

I've seen on the beyond project homepage

"For the latest release, please check http://iphitus.loudas.com/beyond/ until I fix the scripts behind this site."

so I checked and I found the 2.6.20 patchset...... these are the facts.

Re: Kernel 2.6.20 beyond

take a look in testing. bumped kernel26beyond-2.6.20-beyond2 in there. No external build modules yet though... give me some time.

Re: Kernel 2.6.20 beyond

I have a question.
Does the kernel26beyond-2.6.20-beyond2 include the 2.6.20.3 patch or it's only 2.6.20 without revisions?

Seems to be plain 2.6.20.

Isn't the vannila kernel suspend good enough for you ?

Re: Kernel 2.6.20 beyond

when vanilla flat out doesn't work (and suspend2 works), I bet it's not enough.
