Everytime when I enable crossfading in Sonata it turns off after computer restart
How can I solve this?
Maybe crossfading should be enabled directly in mpd.conf?

Are the permissions for the ~/.config/sonata/sonatarc file correct so the config is saved after you turn Sonata off?
There's a line there "xfade_enabled = False" in mine (I haven't enabled it), you could try manually changing it to True before starting Sonata and see if it helps.

Actually, you want to ensure that mpd saves its state. Uncomment the state_file line in the mpd.conf.
(Sonata used to overrule mpd and dictate whether xfade/repeat/shuffle/etc were set, but I got a lot of feedback that people didn't like this because it doesn't play well with other clients. So now Sonata tells mpd once to enable xfade and then relies on mpd correctly saving this information.)
