Gnuplot and libgd.so.2 SOLVED!!!!!

Hi folks,

i have installed the package gnuplot with pacman -Sy gnuplot.
and it installed perfectly..but i couldn't get it running because it seems a shared library is missing:

[kitgo@Compi kitgo]$ gnuplot
gnuplot: error while loading shared libraries: libgd.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

maybe some dependancy is missing?
i don't know how to correct this.

Re: Gnuplot and libgd.so.2 SOLVED!!!!!

The gnuplot package needs 'gd' added as a dependency.  The best way to handle these issues is to post a bug (bugs.archlinux.org) informing the package maintainer of the problem.  Not all devs read the forums.

I've added the dependency in CVS so the next release will not be a problem.

Thanks for the info,
