[solved] beryl messes up my windows

I use beryl with "AIGLX' and use --use-copy parameter at startup, because otherwise I get a White Cube and can't see anything. But now beryl messes up my application windows. On starting a new application everything is fine, but when moving the window or typing something, for example on an xterm, the application becomes somewhat 'distorted' and it's not possible to read something there anymore. What can I do?

Btw, my 'Device' is "Intel i810 (generic)" and I configured for AIGLX according to the Arch beryl wiki. Maybe anyone can tell me how I might get the direct rendering path working as well. Probably this might solve the other problem, too.

They say if you reverse play a Windows CD you can hear satanic verses... But wanna know what's even worse? If you forward play it, it's gonna install Windows on your system!

Re: [solved] beryl messes up my windows

I got it running with the help of another thread here. Seems, that it's necessary to intall 'beryl-setting' package, too, for beryl to run correctly. Now I do not have to use 'copy' anymore and windows do not get messed up. Everything's just fine.
