USB slots + gstreamer
my two frontal USB slots aren't recognised by default, how do i enable them?
is there any table of gstreamer codecs which shows what format they support?

I'm not sure what you are asking. Gstreamer would not have anything to do with your USB ports.

that's not what the question was ... there are two question...

the wiki http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Gstreamer might have some useful info on gst...
also,
pacman -Ss gstreamer0.10 | less # it doesn't provide much info, but it a lot of cases i find sufficient ... hope it's helpful..
in stall pitfdll; pacman -S gstreamer0.10-pitfdll to get access to the multimedia codecs form mplayer (most windows, and quicktime)
