Dablo2 with cedega 5.2

Hi everybody,

i tried to install Diablo2 with cedega.
The LOD install with the original CD does not work for me. Got this Blinker.exe error. I made an image from ever CD and the installation works. Update to 1.11b works to.
Now if i want to run the Graphicstest i get this error:

/home/bread/.cedega/.winex_ver/winex-5.2/bin/winex3: line 374:  7371 Segmentation fault $SHELL -c "$RUNWINE $FULL_COMMAND_LINE"

If i want to run Diablo2 i get this:

tid 7424 received signal 11. Raising signal 3

Same Problem on Workstation and Laptop. On my Workstation since Kernel 2.6.18+ is out.

I'm using
- Kernel 2.6.19
- cedega 5.2 + 5.2.7 engine

D2LOD runs finde with wine if you don't _want_ to use cedega only / nevertheless.

but wine don't wont to run

Well... wether it's just declared as "Warning" I guess it's not good that windows isn't accessable for wine.

Check wether the chmods of ~/.wine/ ist set properly.

I played D2LOD with arch many months ago but it runs flawless with wine as far as I remember.

Don't have any .wine/ dir only this one

Try this commands, one of them will create the directories (i forget which one or maybe both do):

wine

winecfg

Mh, that's pretty strange...

Do you have enought disc space?

Maybe you could if it works with a earlier version of wine or with wine-cvs?

edit: I cannot really see a realtion yet but some threads I found via google refer to bad gpu drivers. Which gpu du you have and which drivers you are using?

Solved the problem some weeks ago!

With wine 0.9.21 i could create a .wine directory with wincfg and installed Diablo2 LOD.
Than i could easily upgrade to the newest wine version from extra repo.

Diablo runs playable now even on bnet.
