laptop hangs at boot (udev)
i have a strange problem with my lap, it sometimes hangs at the udev stage, it always work if i have no usb devices connected. i remember there was a grub option i ould add to grub that fixed this. reserve=something.. i just can't find the solution now.. does anyone now?

I have the same issue. I always use a USB trackball with my laptop, and it's always plugged in at boot.
Sometimes it just hangs at "Starting udev". Most of the time it boots without a problem.
The problem seemed to begin about the time I picked up the 2.6.19 kernel, though I can't say for sure.
