"your computer case had been opened"

everytime i turn on/reboot my pc, i get this message:

"your computer case had been opened, please press space to proceed"

it comes up when the menu with the options "setup" "boot menu" etc... (you know) appears. i had this since i've built in a dvd-rom. i've played around with hardware several times, but this is only happening lately.

i was looking for wires connected to case or something similar... didn't find anything.

not a big issue, but it's annoying.

i hope some1 can help me, even though it's not linux-related.

That message means that someone has opened your case...

If you go into the BIOS of your machine, you'll find an option to reset the case status or turn it off completely.

Amazingly enough, I had to learn it myself!  Way back in 2001, the company I was working for bought this new fangled machine for one of their workers.  I believe it was a smoking 800MHz, with 512meg of ram!  I had to open it to switch hard drives and stuff and when I got it back together, it gave me that message!
