Probably not, I think you can just use the install cd and look up the file with your password in it and choose what you want? I will try and look up the file real quick also if this is your first linux distribution I suggest you think about playing with a linux os that comes mostly preset from the install (like ubuntu) as with arch you will be doing a lot of configuring. Keep in mind though Arch is the best and if you are willing to work at it you will not be disappointed.
First did you edit any of the files it asked you to during install?

Also did you try a blank password for root? Since you did not set one..

Hmm, have you read any of the wiki?
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Main_Page
There is three good pages on installation you can see there.
Next you should create a regular user.
Then choose the correct mirror for your continued downloading.
Then install what you want. (I think you are looking for a desktop type of thing so look into iinstalling xorg and and the DE or WM of your choice.)
Good luck.

You probably want something like GDM+GNOME or KDM+KDE for graphical login and desktop manager if you're pretty new to Linux. You need the X.org server and some drivers for your graphics card, some fonts and that's pretty much it, not sure what you mean by "all the xorg things".

Also before installing one (only if you want to save hard drive space I have them all) use your best friend google to look at some screenshots of them and learn about what they are.

i selected all is there a interface that comes with it um if there is how i use it?

OK, you need to tell me somethings, because otherwise we will be answering questions all day as it is clear you are not using the wiki or there is some problem with communication.
What do you plan to do with linux?
Next (almost) everything is on the wiki.
Next many many answers are already answered in the forums. (Do not only check Arch's, check gentoo, ubuntu etc, it is all linux and except for some small differences they are all the same.)
This is why I asked if you wanted to stick with Arch or move to something more friendly where the config files are prefilled for you. Arch is a more of a "you set it up the way you want distro".
Offline
And what do you mean by all?

I suggest that you read the beginners guide in the wiki. There's no point in us answering your every question. If you on the other hand is looking for something that is up and running out-of-the-box without much of the configuration arch was built for, why not try ubuntu?
Also, please use the 0.8 beta install CD, if you're not already doing that.

If you get that prompt mate that means you have been logged in...
And i agree: Ubuntu seems the best choice for you. There's no need for blaming Arch for your lack of experience . I mean... Did you check your own topic title?
