awesfx - can't build

I am trying to build the awesfx package from AUR (first time using AUR). Every time I have tried this, I get the following during the build process:

I have both mcpp and commoncpp2 installed on my system. From checking the various resources, I gather other people have not had any special problem building this. My basic problem is that I have a Ensoniq  sound card (ES1371), and can't get midi sound. I have a couple of sound fonts which are detected (e.g. by Qsynth), but I gather these have to be specifically loaded, hence awesfx. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I thought awesfx only worked for Creative SB cards. Anyway, I've only ever built it once and it worked.
