Gensplash help

I am trying to install this gensplash theme (the original one) but for some reason it says it cannot find the config file. I setup everything correctly and I am running the latest beyond kernel but I am having trouble building the theme. I am not sure weather or no I need to build it first or what. Any help would be appreciated.

I successfully installed this theme. I just cannot figure out how to install the one above.

Edit again: If try to set it up, it comes up very late and then freezes at the end of bootup. Is the resolution the problem ?

Re: Gensplash help

Don't forget to edit both your grub entry and /etc/mkinitcpio.conf to point to the new theme!

Also you must do a mkinitcpio -g [kernel image]  every time you install a new theme.

I'm using this theme right now at 1024x768 without problems.

Re: Gensplash help

All fixed smile It was a vga problem. I was trying to use vga 1024x768 on a 1280x1024 theme. I just changed to the 1024x768 and all is well. Looks great.
