Hi!
I've got a problem with google-earth. When I try to zoom the landscape the view gets slightly blue and then becomes fully light blue when zoomed in more. I can't see the Earth from smaller distances.
Strange is that google-earth used to work OK. I tried to upgrade to newer version, but it didn't help. I thought i could be a problem with GLX, but other GL apps works fine, tuxracer for example .
Does anyone else experienced this too? Has anyone an idea or recommendation?

Hi.
I have exactly the same problem. And it also used to run ok in the past. Did you find any workaround for that issue since ?
Thanks in advance.

If you are using - as me - an intel integrated video chipset with the i810 driver, the problem is quite well known and consists in an incorrect vblanking method of the drm kernel module (i915): the problem should be addressed by some patches already submitted for inclusion in the 2.6.20 kernel, so we need only to wait.

Yes, I am using i810 driver. Thank you very much for the info.

Unfortunately, the problem is still here with 2.6.20. However, there's no more error when GoogleEarth is started.
HW info :

00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

Should anyone have this problem still, it can easily be "solved" by unchecking "atmosphere" under the "view" menu.
