[SEMI-SOLVED] hald-addon-stor eats my cpu

Lately my system started freezing frequently (~ twice a day). When I check what process is that I see hald-addon-stor using somewhere between 75% and 99% of my cpu.
As I guess from the process name it has something to do with "storage" but I don't have any usb-sticks or anything like that plugged in when the system freezes.
Where should I look to troubleshoot this?

P.S. I'm using latest Arch64 + KDEmod, also I've installed KPowersave 0.6.2 lately.

Same problem described here: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/li … +bug/75295
Semi-solution is to:

switch to a terminal and execute hdparm -w /dev/hdc (or whatever hdX is your drive)
