beryl - no window manager

hi, after today's update, beryl no longer starts, it just gets rid of my window decoration

Re: beryl - no window manager

I had the same thing happen. I enabled the Unstable repository and then did # pacman -Sy beryl-svn.
It brought beryl and all it's goodness back.

Re: beryl - no window manager

I have the same kind of thing here: Beryl can't start after upgrade. I have had unstable enabled and did pacman -Syu today. This far I tried to remove .beryl and .beryl-managerrc, but not luck. Here's my log when I started beryl-manager from a console window:

sven@athena:~$ beryl-manager
sven@athena:~$ libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x4b

** (beryl-manager:4560): WARNING **: Couldn't find a Selection Owner, perhaps no
 WM running?
Otherwise, manually kill your wm, and report the bug to the developers, it doesn
't follow the standards.
Falling back to looking for a defined WM in xlsclients.
